1. Who operates Joshua Supply

Joshua Supply is operated by ACTICHAINS - UNIPESSOAL LDA., VAT PT516875728, at R. do Infante Santo 16, São Martinho, 9000-012 Funchal, PORTUGAL.

2. What the service provides

Joshua Supply is a free, AI-assisted service that helps you find marine equipment, parts and relevant general supplies in the Canary Islands. Ordinary chat is available without an account. Live supplier discovery requires verified email sign-in. Technical usage limits may apply to prevent abuse and manage service capacity. You purchase directly from independent suppliers. Joshua Supply does not currently take payments for products, place orders on your behalf or undertake delivery. A search result or sourcing request does not guarantee that an item will be found or supplied.

3. AI answers and supplier information

Joshua is an AI assistant. Its answers, translations, product suggestions and part identifications may be incorrect, incomplete or outdated. Confirm specifications, compatibility, prices, taxes, stock, opening hours and delivery arrangements directly with the supplier before relying on them. Reviewing a supplier’s identity or listing does not establish current stock, product quality or suitability for your vessel. Check the source, date and scope of any verification shown. For safety-critical equipment, repairs, electrical systems, fuel or gas systems, chemicals and similar matters, consult the manufacturer’s instructions and an appropriately qualified professional. Joshua Supply is not an emergency service, navigation system or substitute for a professional inspection. Its map is not a navigation chart. These limitations do not remove our legal obligations or your mandatory rights.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Use an email address you control and protect your sign-in links and sessions. Contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without authorization. Only submit information and images you are entitled to share. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information. You must not use the service unlawfully, impersonate others, infringe their rights, upload malicious content, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or usage controls, or disrupt the service. Optional marketing and analytics consent are separate from access to the service.

5. Your content and other intellectual property

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You allow us to process that content as necessary to provide the service you request, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. This does not transfer ownership or grant an unrestricted advertising licence. Supplier descriptions, photographs, trademarks and other third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. AI-generated responses may not be unique and do not guarantee freedom from third-party rights. Our protected website content and software remain subject to applicable intellectual-property rights, including lawful exceptions.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains how personal information is handled and how to exercise your rights. These terms do not constitute consent to optional marketing, analytics or every use of personal information. Stopping use of the service does not automatically delete previously stored information; you may use the available deletion controls or contact us.

7. Availability and restrictions

Maintenance, technical failures and capacity limits may interrupt the service. We may proportionately restrict or suspend access to address misuse, security threats or legal requirements. Where lawful and reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to challenge an error by contacting us. Urgent protective action may come first. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. Suspension or closure does not remove your privacy rights or mandatory remedies.

8. Responsibility

Independent suppliers are responsible for their offers, sales, payments, warranties, returns and delivery arrangements. Joshua Supply remains responsible for its own legal obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights. Providing the service free of charge does not, by itself, remove applicable digital-service protections.

9. Complaints and disputes

Send complaints to admin@joshua.supply or our postal address above. These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections applicable in your country of habitual residence. Nothing in these terms restricts your right to bring proceedings before a court available to you under applicable consumer law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, security needs or legal requirements. Updates will identify their version and effective date. We will give appropriate notice of material changes and obtain agreement where legally required. Replacing the published text alone will not be treated as your acceptance of a material change. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
